The frontis plate, title page, text and illustrations are all in clean bright condition and there are no inscriptions. Internally the book excellent to virtually as new condition. The folding map in our copy is clean and bright and in as new condition with only one or two minor marks. The decorated end papers are complete without inscriptions and there are no splits on the hinge line either to the front or the rear board. Brown cloth boards with bright gold lettering in very good to excellent condition with one or two small marks. Slight wear to edges and corners. See photograph for details.
