Description / Information:
Lots of magazines in this series. Minimum order £10 value. Excellent article on aero engines, Matthew Murray pioneer engineer who was the builder of the Blenkinsop locos. Also fire floats and chemical fire engines. This magazine has a quality coloured copy of the cover enclosed. This is the landing on a platform in mid Atlantic. From June 1923 they have very attractive coloured covers. Under book condition in very good condition contents are complete including adverts in good clean condition without significant creasing. Good means some creasing or marks to a few pages but complete. Fair means either some dirty pages, some small loss, advert missing and/or some significant creases. Cover conditions are: under jacket condition in fine condition the covers are complete and with few, if any significant marks or creases. Very clean. Very good has a few relatively insignificant creases and/or fairly minor wear and/or tears to the edges and corners but without any significant loss. Also generally clean. Good has a few more tears and more major wear to the edges and corners. They may be a small amount of loss. Some marks. Fair has more significant tears, some chipping, and/or loss, or significant creases. More marks. In describing cover condition, we are referring to the covers themselves and not to the spines. Sometimes the spines are split and there are normally some marks left by the staples, which normally rust. Neither of these two features detracts from the magazine and is normal. However, if a magazine is otherwise fine but has major rust marks and serious damage to the spine then it is downgraded to very good.
