Packed weight = 04.80kg. Available UK only - payment by UK cheque please. This is the rare two volumes in the same publisher's green cloth bindings both with the strong grey slipcases. One is The Gardens of China 1949 and the second China and Gardens of Europe 1950. One of the slipcases is damaged. Both books are as originally published as are the bindings. These are very high quality with gold lettering stamped on the front boards and spines. Internally generally very clean. The books are lavishly illustrated with both b\w photographs and b\w illustrations. The green cloth boards are clean and bright with bright gold lettering to the front boards and the spine. One box has had one edge repaired and has a colour reproduction of the nameplate. The boxes are generally clean and have some light edge wear and wear to the corners.
