Packed weight = 02.20kg.This is a 2 volume set. The parcel will weight much more than the standard abe postage charges which are for a 1kg uninsured parcel so please either contact us direct or look at the postage options on our website before ordering through abe. Vol 1 part 1 and Vol 1 part 2 covering 1833 to 1863 both dated 1927. 902 pages in total. Contents are generally excellent, clean bright. Except that in Part 1 there are some stain marks from former tape in the gutter for les than half the height of the title page extending for about 1.5 cm into the page but not affecting any text. Part two has some stain marks on the front board and the front pastedown, free end paper and extending to the reverse of the foldout map facing the title page. Title page is generally clean. The gold on the spine of both volumes is bright and clear so they look smart on the bookshelf. The tan cloth boards have a few light marks. All bindings are publishers tan cloth. The price reflects the condition. Without the limited listed defects these books would be classified excellent. Good value.
