Description / Information:
The book is lovely and clean and bright. The corners of pages and boards are crisp. It has the personal private bookplate of Norman Partridge. The gold lettering and blue decoration on the front board and the spine are excellent. It has a plum coloured dust wrapper and there is chipping at the head and the foot of the spine and one chip on one edge - none of these chips affect the text or decoration. There is one small closed tear on the rear. I have a matching spare dustwrapper form the same book so can provide the paper for a repair or do the repair this end if the boo is bought direct and paid for by cheque. Second impression 1950
