Description / Information:
The pages and plates are bright with crisp corner to the pages (no apparent folds or creases) and there is some foxing mainly restricted to the edges of the paper. The lovely black and white line drawings in the text are generally excellent clean and bright. I have checked all the colour plates and they are all present and in generally lovely condition. The plain free end papers have no markings but are browned on one side as normal. The gold on the shield and the spine is bright (These books also come without Gold). The blue boards are bright but there is some edge scuffing and corner wear. The blue of the spine is slightly darker and there is some edge wear. The binding is sound.
