Description / Information:
In very good condition overall. Two volumes in one. Translated from the French by G. S. Beaumont. 8 plates as called for. Internally, most pages are generally clean with some light foxing. Offsetting from the frontispiece to the title page. Corner wear to frontispiece but no loss to plate. Pages around plate facing page 75 has some heavier foxing. Some offsetting from plates to the text. Rebound in magnificent new three quarter calf binding costing £100. Fine marbled panels on boards. Spine has five raised bands and a bright black nameplate. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
