Description / Information:
In very good condition overall. The first extensive history of an individual British Railway, covering the first 40 years of the Midland Railway. From the private library of P. H. Edwards; there is a bookplate on inside front board. Very clean inside with little signs of marking or foxing. Some black and white illustrations and maps with the text etc. The boards are in good order - the front board has the Midland Railway crest in gold. The spine is dull and has small amounts of cockling. Some slight damage to top and bottom of spine. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
