A very rare and interesting book in very good condition overall. Please contact us before ordering through abe books as this valuable book will need insuring and the standard Abe postal charges do not apply. Describes in great detail the LBSCR Various Powers Bill from 1900. Including many interesting sections such as the dredging of Newhaven Harbour and the rebuilding of the Grosvenor Hotel at London Victoria. Mostly very clean inside indeed. Marbled boards in v. good condition. Leather nameplate on front board in very good. bright condition. Leather slightly worn especially on spine but bright does not affect any of the lettering. This comes from my private collection. Was going to keep but it is a little specialised for me and I thought it is better to find a good home with a fellow collector. Minutes of evidence of 21 March 1900 plus appendices 48 pages. Speeches of counsel same date 20 pages. Plus The London Brighton and South Coast Railway (Various Powers) Act 1900 32 pages. A most interesting item with indices and preamble bound in.
