In very good clean condition overall. In mostly excellent clean condition inside. Inscriptions on f.e.p. Adverts at front and back. Frontis. Excellent decorated boards and spine in good bright condition. Slight wear to head and foot of spine. There is a dedication on the half titleto John Roche Dakyens from Lewelyn Griffith dated Jan 1905.. Dakens was a nephew of Sir George dasent. Preface dated London 1883. Title page says "illustrated with fac-similies of tickets, sound holes etc. Reprinted by Subscription". Frontice of an old Cremona violin. 331pp. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs.
