Description / Information:
A first edition in excellent condition overall. Very clean and bright with coloured frontis and many illustrations. Does not appear to have been read. The book itself is virtually as new with bright boards with bright spine, bright gold lettering and lovely green printed decorated end papers without inscriptions. I am a collector and have been collecting theses Batsford books for over 40 years and normally the dust wrappers have significant chipping plus wear and fading to spines. This one is well above average. The front and rear are both bright with only marginal wear at outer corners. The top and bottom of the spine have some wear and the spine has some fading. The wrapper is price clipped.
