Description / Information:
American version of the fold out colour leaflet announcing the New Meccano in 1926. There was a free single sheet included with the September 1926 Meccano magazine and in addition, this fold out leaflet which was sent out from the factory in its own Meccano envelope which itself announced the new Meccano. The British and American issues of this leaflet are quite different in terms of their artwork and content although the format is the same. Also the section showing the models to be made appears to be the same. There is an interesting article on Meccano Motors and Transformers. In addition, there were two further larger format coloured publicity documents issued by Meccano at this time for the new coloured Meccano. All these items are now very rare.
