Photos to follow. In very good condition overall. Internally very clean. Contains the 3 scarce Railway Gazette special centenary numbers from 1925, 1935 and 1938 all in generally excellent condition. The first is the profusely illustrated Special British Railway Centenary Number (128 pages) and covers the story of British Railways from the Stockton and Darlington. Very good cloth boards and spine with one or two marks. The second is the well illustrated GWR Special Centenary Number (52 pages) and covers the story of the Great Western. The third is the very scarce LMS Centenary of the opening of the first main-line railway (84 pages) and covers the London Birmingham Line through to 1938 concluding with a state of the art coaling plant and the Duchesses of Gloucester and Buccleuch. This volume has an excellent provenance in that it was in the Paul Edwards collection and bears his private bookplate and then in the Bianco Collection.
