Description / Information:
Packed weight = 01.00kg. Price NET. Contemporary cloth binding with spine neatly re-laid. Maroon leather title block on spine with bright gold lettering. Some wear to boards (see photograph). Sound tight binding. Engraved foldout map of the coat of Sussex with vignettes of Arundel Castle and Battle Abbey Gatehouse dated 1833 (Lightly foxed with some creases along the map fold lines but generally very good condition with no loss). Lovely vignette of the Brighton pavilion on the title page (see photograph on our website) plus 6 further engraved plates (occasional foxing to some - see photos on our website) including Brighton East showing the newly finished Chain Pier and Fairlight Hill Hastings looking out to sea and an excellent plate of Goodwood House. Text pages generally very clean. The Bianco Library website has 3 pictures of this book including both medium and large images. This description is to be read in conjunction with these photographs.
