Hamilton Ellis's 2 volume masterwork covering the period 1830 to 1947. Very well presented and illustrated. Books virtually as new with very good dust wrappers , priced to reflect condition. Lovely coloured frontis to both volumes. Vol 1 1956 and vol 2 first 1959. Some foxing to page edges volume 2. Black cloth boards with crisp corners and bright gold lettering. Dust wrapper vol 1 not price clipped with refurbished head and foot of spine and fading to the red of the spine. Red on font bright The Green dust wrapper for vol 2 excellent. Not price clipped , bright spine with light scattered foxing. No inscriptions. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
