In very good condition overall. This volume is especially clean for its age with only a few marks internally - these are generally only to the text. As with all Illustrated London News, this is well illustrated with large numbers of pictures throughout the text, some full page illustrations and some fold out plates including one of the floods in the Fen country. Fine full page plate of Peterborough cathedral. Original marble boards in good bright condition. Original leather corners and spine in good condition. The spine has been repaired in places. Some slight bumping to corners. Gold lettering bright on spine. The Bianco Library website has 5 pictures of this book including both medium and large images.
