Sussex county magazine - complete from issue 1 in 1926 to the final issue 1956. This set contains all 31 volumes. Rare as a complete set. All in publishers bindings. Some volumes have neat private bookplate on f.e.p. Volume 3 and Volume 4 are split into two volumes. Volume 16 and 17 are in one volume. No covers or adverts bound in. Contents generally virtually as new. Bindings generally very good. The letterings on the spine to some of the earlier volumes tend to be a little dull which is normal. One of the wartime volumes (20) was bound by the publishers in slightly different quality cloth and is a lighter blue and the spine is faded. I think this is the function of the glues and cloths used as all the sets that I have seen have this volume in a similar colour wit fading to the spine. Specific details are: Volumes I, XVII&XVIII have faded spines. Volume 27 has worn gold on spine. Volume 20 has a faded spine as mentioned above. Please see photographs for further information.
