Internally mostly clean - some foxing and marking. Foxing is mostly confined to the tissue papers protecting the plates. The plates are generally in very good condition - some have some light foxing to edges. The paper covers are rare to survive. Most of the covers are complete with minimal tearing and some light marking. Volume I has damage and loss to its covers. Some tape and tape marks on front cover. Please see photographs for full description. The Bianco Library website has 5 pictures of this book including both medium and large images.
