In good condition overall. This is Julian Hall's scrap book with many cuttings and photographs from Eton College and especially the rowing club. Generally neat internally and well annotated. Good cloth boards a little worn with a small tear to the top of the spine. Includes cuttings relating to Sir John Hall. Period at Eton is 1922 to 1925 with cuttings, pictures letters and a telegram about a scholarship to Oxford. Julian hall was the Captain of Oppidians and there is a letter I his hand addressed to the King on Eton Notepaper. The first 26 pages seem to relate to Eton and then moves on to Oxford and particularly the Union. Hall was a Balliol man 83 pages in all. One of the latest items is an article in the Listener by Julian Hall - Eton Leaving Portraits The Bianco Library website has 2 pictures of this book including both medium and large images.
