All these pages featuring Hornby O gauge trains. Front section includes a survey of electric traction in the UK following the successful opening of the first electrified main lone to Brighton. Meccano print code for August 1933 is; 16/833/100. This is a well above average complete copy of one of the iconic publications from BinnsRoad and the Meccano Company in its heyday. The list of defects that follow are minor. Internally generally very clean, bright and well illustrated. There is one chip to internal page 15/16 which has been repaired with matching contemporary paper. No loss to text. Normal minor creases down spine with some rust to staples but with only marginal marking on centre page. Two small marks/ indentations to front cover and one on rear cover- three minor closed edge tears to covers with no loss - all repaired without use of any tape. Overall a lovely copy.
