Minimum postage applies. 1928-29 Hornby book of Trains with the 6100 Royal Scot on the front cover and twelve coloured covers from the Meccano Magazine featured on the rear coloured cover. Coloured front and rear covers are quality coloured reproductions on matte heavyweight paper . 46 pages. Pages 12 to 31 are in glorious colour in EXCELLENT complete bright clean condition. All these pages featuring Hornby O gauge trains. Front section includes well illustrated articles on steam locomotives and the workings of a goods depot and special types of goods rolling stock including Banana vans long loads etc. There is also an article on a gravitation yard. Meccano print code for August 1928 is; 828/100. For any collector with any damage to inner pages this would be a great replacement at a competitive price. Otherwise a very good reference copy with excellent interior and high quality repro covers. The first and last pages are a bit worn with some closed tears that have been repaired but without any use of tape. There is a little adhesion on one of the pictures on reverse of page one but not serious. The rest of the interior is generally excellent. Overall a good copy of this iconic publication from Binns Road and the Meccano Company. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
