Superb example of this gardening classic. Jekyll writes in her normal 4th write style, about 37 of her favourite gardens. These are supplemented by 50 beautiful colour plates of drawings by George S Elgood. The contents are in excellent clean condition with minimal foxing. Original free end papers in excellent condition, with no inscriptions, library or other marks. Boards and spine excellent bright blue condition. Head and foot of spine not chipped or split. Small indents on back board with no loss of colour. Gold writing on front and spine bright and clear. Top edge gold in excellent condition, corners of pages and boards crisp and sound. A lovely copy that looks excellent on the book shelf. Further photos of plates are available. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
