Volume III. Fascinating plates. Title page is loose with a little staining. Few tears and creases to the first pages with a little loss to the address to the Christian Reader otherwise no loss to text. This book has simply hundreds of engraved plates, each normally containing four scenes. The binding is probably contemporary and is split and worn but could be rebuilt. There are marbled end papers, which may mean the binding is later. Ideally, the book needs rebinding. Unusually the rear pages of the volume are all intact without loss and in very good condition. Many of these large books tend to suffer damage at the front, rear and often loss of pages. A few page edges have a little staining but on the whole the book and its plates are very clean and bright.
