Description / Information:
Miscellany of the references to the Great Exhibition within the Illustrated London News published from January - Dec 1851. We cannot state that it has every single item relating to the Great Exhibition but having looked at it fairly briefly we cannot see anything missing. It starts with some articles from the Jan-June 1851 edition of the ILN and has all, (we think) the supplements on the Great Exhibition. Internally it is very clean with only a small amount of foxing and marking. There are also a number of fold out plates; many showing the layouts and exhibits of the Exhibition itself. The plates vary from immaculate to good. Fine marbled boards and new three quarter leather in fine condition. Five raised bands to spine with bright gold.
