Packed weight = 05.20kg. 6 volume set in lovely contemporary 3/4 leather bindings with 4 raised bands blocked and edged in gold with marbled boards. Lovely marbled end papers. All page edges marbled. Bindings in virtually as new condition. The price reflects the condition of the bindings. The Bianco Library website has 4 pictures of these books including both medium and large images. This description is to be read in conjunction with these photographs. The format is individual portraits with a biographical memoir of individuals, each generally supported by a plate. Some folding plates (closed tear on the fold of one in vol1). Internally generally excellent with some foxing to some pages and plates.
