Packed weight = 06.25kg. 2 Volume set. Fantastic de luxe contemporary full leather brown bindings elaborately blocked in black and gold in heraldic style. Bindings in virtually as new condition. Superb marbled end papers. All page edges gold. Presentation bookplate. The price reflects the condition and is NET. The Bianco Library website has 4 pictures of these books including both medium and large images. This description is to be read in conjunction with these photographs. Lovely engraved vignette on title page of vol1 of the Tower of London in 1828 by J M W Turner and of High Street Edinburgh by S Bough in Vol 2. Profusely illustrated by lovely engraved plates "from important works by distinguished modern painters and from authentic State portraits".
