The first volume was bought out it 1910 and covered just public buildings. By the time the run finished in 1915, they covered both public and private buildings as well. This volume is in very good condition overall. Internally generally very clean with a large number of photographs, illustrations and diagrams. A neat inscription on f.e.p. Binding slightly loose. This volume includes buildings such as: Bedford College in London by Central Police Station in Hull by J. H. Hirst, The Elms in Bushey by Harold Kennard and Marischal College, Aberdeen by A. Marshall Mackenzie. Also included in this volume are indexes of the architects and buildings. There are also some fascinating adverts some of which are in colour. The Bianco Library website has 4 pictures of this book including both medium and large images. This description is to be read in conjunction with these photographs.
