The first volume was bought out it 1910 and covered just public buildings. By the time the run finished in 1915, they covered both public and private buildings as well. This volume is in very good condition overall. Internally generally very clean with a large number of photographs, illustrations and diagrams. There is some tape on the f.e.p. This volume includes buildings such as: County School, Harrow by H. G. Grothall; Fox Inn in Kingswood by Horace Lambert and Oak Hall in Haslemere by Theophilus A. Allen. Also included in this volume are indexes of the architects and buildings. There are also some fascinating adverts some of which are in colour. The Bianco Library website has 3 pictures of this book including both medium and large images. This description is to be read in conjunction with these photographs.
